Alright who are the best sleepers, breakout players or busts? Got a big draft tonight
Lehkonen is a sleeper imo. Karlsson I think is worth drafting now to that Burns is gone. As for young guys, I think Kent Johnson, Cole Perfetti, and Marco Rossi are guys that could potentially break out nicely.

I picked up on the sarcasm, but I always like to point out that Quick, for all his accomplishments, has a real knack for letting in ridiculous goals off dump-ins.
I lived in LA a long time and seen a lot of him and I yeah definitely know what you are talking about.

Once again, I do not get why the pundits seem to like Rob Blake's tenure as GM. No offense to the guy, I liked him as a player well enough but his "rebuild" has been mediocre at best. Way too many big whiffs at the draft table, forcing him to make way too many big FA signings and trades. Basically a brief Drew Doughty resurgence and Philip Danault magic allowed LA to look like they were good. That and the Babcockian clutch-and-grab system that McLellan loves to use. Oh and his "goalie of the future" pick was Cal Petersen, who once barely outdueled Hunter Miska and will once again start the season on the bench.

Will Kevin Fiala change all this? I have no idea. I guess it helps they're in the league's weakest division, and I have a sneaking suspicion that Vegas will faceplant this season.
