Nothing wrong about that hit. I wouldn't even call it a predatory preseason hit from a guy trying to make the team. Zegras needs to be smarter.
What is this meme list? HahahahaBednar should definitely be #1

His goblin-like features aren't for everyone...I don't know where that list comes from, but it can't be real. In no universe is Darryl Sutter a handsome man, and Jay Woodcroft looks like a burn victim.

That's actually huge in fantasy hockey if Marner has Defense eligibility.
This is extremely radical though.Watch it becoming a trend and other teams trying to make their own "Cale Makar" by adding a very skilled guy to their blue line to run the offense from the back end.
Remember that teams always try to copy the most recent cup winners.
This will be interesting to see how they execute this. I'm sure it wont seem like such a great idea if he gets crushed into the boards on someone's forecheck (eg Barbashev on Girard).Well, forwards QB'ing the power play used to be a thing. I still remember Ray Whitney and Daniel Alfredsson (pre-Karlsson, obviously) doing it. It really seemed to go away once a lot of teams went to the "umbrella" style of power play with only 1D on the ice, so who knows, maybe things are trending the other way.
Fluidity among positions in hockey is only increasing, so this feels inevitable that we'll be seeing more of it at time goes on.
I like Keefe as a coach, he, like Bednar, seems willing to try new things a lot more than most of his contemporaries.
Winning the cup with very poor goaltending and a defense like ours was also extremely radical. This is extremely radical though.
