It would shock me if MAF was involved. Doesnt seem like something he be caught up in. Upshall and Derek Roy on the other hand.....Wild are likely praying Fleury isn’t involved in the slightest otherwise they are hurting big time in net if this causes a distraction or Fleury steps away from playing.
I… I don’t even know what to say. This shit is so f***ed uo.
The players are older in the WC teams so you would think that they have matured by then and hopefully capable of making better life choices.Feels like this is just the tip of the iceberg. Seems unlikely this is it, and there will be many others that feel comfortable coming forward now, when they weren't before.
Weird that it there's potentially at least three incicdints all with the WJC team too. Not WC's or any other international tourneys. Something rotten going on there.
The sad part is it's not just junior hockey. Even down to the minor hockey ranks the rep players think they can get away with murder when it comes to women. With junior hockey being as big as it is in Canada, making celebrities out of 16-20 year old men, I have to imagine it's can create an environment where they feel they can get away with things and obviously for the longest time have.

What is wrong with those kids? Just sick.
You would hope they have matured, but the culture still exists to an extent. I remember hearing this microphone pickup of Adam Gaudette skating off the ice post game when i was watching the recent 2022 WC.The players are older in the WC teams so you would think that they have matured by then and hopefully capable of making better life choices.

Burn in hell, f***ers. Shame some of the perpetrators went on to have NHL careers.f***ing yikes...

One thought I’ve had is that teams are waiting out those who are most over, namely Tampa. Perhaps they believe the market eventually softens but it’s costly to move salary at the moment and teams feel Tampa should make the first move since they’re the most over?Did all the shitty cheap teams in the league collude to refuse to take on salary and squeeze the FA market? Still 2 teams under the floor, Buffalo is 1m over, then another 6 teams with 10m+ in space. Just not understanding why it’s so tough to move a player like Bjorkstrand?
We might see things come out of regular Major Junior teams also. With junior hockey being as big as it is in Canada, making celebrities out of 16-20 year old men, I have to imagine it can create an environment where they feel they can get away with things and obviously for the longest time have.
Florida has pissed away a ridiculous amount of assets in a few months, absolutely terrible asset management. Despite all that the roster is still over the cap and does not have a Dcore capable of going all the way.
Honestly I hate what they have done. Team looks way worse. They've added Tkachuk, fine. But they have lost Huberdeau, Weegar, Giroux, and man I think Owen Tippett is a fantastic forward for any team trying to compete.
Zito is just not that good. I'm so glad we have the group we do making good moves for now and long term.
Yup… this is simply a symptom of a much larger problemThe sad part is it's not just junior hockey. Even down to the minor hockey ranks the rep players think they can get away with murder when it comes to women.
I'm also having a very hard time to believe that this happens more in hockey than in other sports.Yup… this is simply a symptom of a much larger problem
I have no idea there… I do know it is a major problem in hockey.I'm also having a very hard time to believe that this happens more in hockey than in other sports.
I mean Deshaun Watson has enough SA cases for a couple leagues nonetheless one.I'm also having a very hard time to believe that this happens more in hockey than in other sports.

Nice to have 2 of the top 8 fastest guys in the league. I knew Byram was fast but didn’t realize that fast.
