The curve makes zero sense… but hey sometimes weird things happen. I just can’t believe I’m seeing a guy play like Mario did ever again. It may not last, but it is incredibly fun while it does.

If Levi can transition into the NHL semi smoothly, that team might be very, very good soon. That’s really the last piece.

With the exception of faceoffs, Ryan O’Reilly’s stat line is ALL zeroes. I don’t mean just that he has a 0-0-0 (which he does). He also has zero penalties. Zero shots on goal. Zero shot attempts. Zero hits. Zero turnovers. Zero takeaways. Zero blocked shots.

This from a guy who is going to end up with 16+ minutes in a 5-1 win. I don’t understand how it’s even possible to be THAT invisible in a game. Like, just… do something.

Next 1-2 years are pivotal for the Sabres.

If they make the playoff and continue to improve, they'll be the next powerhouse and it'll be on the backs of their young core. Assuming their young players progress as expected, their management would have to colossally f*** up as they have too much talent and depth on that team to not win anything.
