Somehow I don't think one player is the whole problem on a team that's 27th place in the league

You can be the scoring leader on the team AND be a big part of the problem. Jack Eichel circa Buffalo is another recent example.

That said, no one said that Hayes was "the whole" problem.

Does anyone get hurt more than Barkov? My God

Doesn't look good.

Timmins has poor awareness or just blatant disregard for his health. Good player but I doubt he ever stays healthy long enough to be a mainstay in the NHL

Ovi was likely hunting Timmins. He'd (accidentally?) slewfooted Ovi earlier.
(Edit: getting my ex Avs mixed up. It was Kerfoot, not Timmins)

That stick to Barkov's knee is brutal. Hate that sneaky crap.

too bad that @henchman24 isn't here on weekends

He'd say what any logical person would say--every team slumps. Doesn't matter how good they are.

If it gets to ten games, then that's a concern. But not yet.

I don't think what Hischier did to Barkov was on purpose but oof, that looked really bad.

I still like Jarmo as a GM but signing Erik Gudbranson for $$$ and term might very well be his absolute worst move. Tonight he was covering Nosek when the latter wrestled him for a rebound and scored. Like, dude, if you're not able to do stop THAT, what are you even good for?
