These projected lines are funky...
No Jake Evans? Dvorak on the 3rd?
Id be shocked of one of Armia/Drouin/Hoffman/Byron, are here to start the year anyways.

Was indentation a thing in Descartes’ era?Descartes is very much surpassed by Montaigne, his naive rationalism is outdated, you will never understand enough to be rational, it's an archaic chimera dating from the neo-platonicians and the stoics to think you can achieve omniscience. That's why I have unrealistic expectations aka faith! Maybe one day if we manage physical earthly immortality then we can maybe start to scratch at the idea of the ubermensh and it's not even sure and it's only a crazy dream, just look where altered carbon took the idea to; for now, we have to live with the fact it's impossible to achieve omniscience, our reason is as flawed as it gets. Pour revenir à nos moutons, I would like to maintain my argument. You are making an oversimplification thinking coaches play to win, it's all in the implementation, in the intrinsic details where what you say doesn't make sense. Sure, winning is your goal, but there are so many ways to achieve it, and you have to consider the timeline. Blue chippers are part of the equation, and you have to take them in consideration, especially since you get to keep them for a couple of years usually.
Slafkovsky #20 White
OG QF Slovakia vs USA (all his shifts)
Oh, that would make a mighty fine avy for someone.
I can see Monahan being the center of that fourth line and Evans being the LW.The only duos I think are/will be set are..
Suzuki/Caufield
Dach/Anderson
Dvorak/Gallagher
Evans/Armia
Rest is mix and match
Lol as if the Habs were going to do anything about Galchenyuk abusing the nightlife. He's a grown man he does whatever he wants with his free time. Imagine the job of a coach if it actually included also managing and enforcing rules on the private lives of millionnaire superstars. So he's a winger despite being less productive and worse defensively at wing then at center. Talk about dying on hills.
And for the record Therrien does deserve some of the blame for the off ice/commitment issues. Look at any job, a person's boss is going to have a huge impact on how engaged the people under them are. That's why US companies alone spend over $100 billion a year trying to improve employee engagement.
It's not about setting rules which I agree would do nothing, it's about at a minimum creating an environment where someone doesn't leave the rink and go out looking for some form of escapism, where they don't dread going to the rink and having to deal with incompetent morons in power. Create a shitty environment where people dislike going to the rink everyday and it's simply human nature that they will turn to things like alcohol/drugs. And we likely don't even know half the garbage things Therrien has done, but some lowlights include lying to media about things you said, call you into his office where he just smokes a cigarette in your face and then tells you to leave, throws toenails at people, berates/humiliates you without any reason.Lol as if the Habs were going to do anything about Galchenyuk abusing the nightlife. Pro athletes, have curfews man..............it's true.Lol as if the Habs were going to do anything about Galchenyuk abusing the nightlife. So what's the Habs curfew time then big boy? They have to be in bed by 10 or boogey man Geoff will bite their toes?Pro athletes, have curfews man..............it's true.
True pros know how to take of themselves, and the idiots are the ones that get themselves in trouble......
So, as an employer, you do have some say in what goes on with their millionaire superstars.......
No they don’t.Pro athletes, have curfews man..............it's true.

I have a feeling that once Slaf develops and gains more strength that he will be a serious handful. There is an Assistant GM for the Slovak national team who also played with Jagr in the early 90's on the Czechoslovakian national team and he said that on the ice and off the ice, Juraj reminds him of Jagr at the same age. Bobrov knows the guy and spoke with him on numerous occasions as part of his due diligence for the draft.
even a light Jagr would be amazingI have a feeling that once Slaf develops and gains more strength that he will be a serious handful.
I would never say he could be another Jagr but I would settle for Jagr "light".
Absolutely! Just in type of play, that would be a huge win to have a similar style player. Jagr was so hard to knock off the puck.I have a feeling that once Slaf develops and gains more strength that he will be a serious handful.
I would never say he could be another Jagr but I would settle for Jagr "light".
If we are to believe Jagr, there is a lot of brute strength to work with right now.I have a feeling that once Slaf develops and gains more strength that he will be a serious handful.

Lololol what a dumb thing to say. Fire him please. Some scouts appear to be total idiots.
'"We should draft for size with the 1st overall selection so we don't make the mistake of drafting for size later."
If this is the quote, I forget. Then do not fire him. He’s right. Is this the actual quote? Nope
"If taking Slafkovsky means that we don't start drafting guys later for size.. I think that's where teams start to make mistakes."
Filthy lmao! I love all of you. These boards are the best. Thanks for having me!Was indentation a thing in Descartes’ era?
Asking for a friend.
Me either. I see Slaf more like a Jamie Benn than Jagr. The main reason, Jagr was able to dangle a player into a telephonic cabin. I didnt see Slaf to have those kind of hands. But he is as strong than Jagr along the board and a real poison around the net. Imo, we have a real powerfoward a la Tkachuk/benn. Wich is really goodI don’t see the Slaf/Jagr compares, but if Slaf becomes 3/4 of a player Jagr was we have hit a home run here. I’m a bit skeptical of the selection to be honest, but I’m getting more and more excited to o see him in action.
I’m hoping I’m wrong on the pick and even if he doesn’t come out of the draft as the clear, cut number 1 pick it is hard to argue we didn’t get a very good to great piece here. I would have gone with the center or the dman, but meh.
Slaf is a hab now, let’s f***ing go. Start the season tomorrow. I’m done waiting.
