I need more FOOD
Finally had a chance to watch the Jays after a long time and what a start

Please re-sign Semien. This lineup, when healthy, is a gauntlet. They're doing this with Springer on one leg and without Biggio and Espinal.
Buck just said this lineup is like the "ever ready bunny" lol you mean the "Energizer bunny"
At least Ever Ready is/was an actual battery brand. Small victory?
Oh I didn't know that! It is a small victory lol
Stop, Buck. Stop.
The Yankees are down 4-0.
5-0 nowFrom a Yankees perspective, they have to win that game.
But why is he wrong? Why is Ohtani a lock for mvp? Look at how many categories Vlad leads the AL in. Vlad is right back in it, Ohtani is no longer a lock.

It's not that he's not a lock, it's that he's dismissing Ohtani's accomplishments with stupid arguments like "but the Angels aren't any good, so what he's doing doesn't matter" and treating "well he's doing something we've never seen before" as if it means "well he's doing something we've never seen before to a mediocre level."
You want to argue that Guerrero's offensive dominance is superior to Ohtani's all-around impact, I wouldn't be against if the case made is solid. But Buck's approach is kind of like "well, Ohtani's season is quirky but it's not good enough" combined with "his team sucks so who cares what the player does"
I think they will. There is no way you let this guy walk and you offer what you need to (within reason)
I also think Semien is smart and sees that this team will be a POWERHOUSE for the next decade. If he loves winning, this is where you sign.
Baldelli thinking "shit, I should've taken the Blue Jays job instead." right now.
