Not to bemoan my point too much but these guys just lack focus at critical moments of the game.
Feels like the whole team except the starting pitching has just collapsed under the pressure. It's Semien too, he is supposed to be a veteran. OH well, that shit happens to the best of em.
Round number milestones are so overrated.
Not a question of "if". Just a matter of how and how many.Brad Hand in to lose it
You’re underestimating how difficult it is to place a hit on the field when you’re facing a pitcher with velocity and/or movement.drives me nuts. You see the whole right side of the infield wide open. All Semien has to do is swing late and flip that ball thru the right side. Bichette might be able to get to 3rd worse case you got 1st and 2nd with 1 out.
I just can't understand why players don't learn to play situational ball and forget this whole launch angle cause the numbers say so. Play smart ball.
Cant blame charlie on this one for once
Whose left in the bullpen? Charlie can't be blamed anymore because there aren't too many choices left.Brad Hand in to lose it

The guy throws 100. You have to gear up, recognize what pitch it is and where it is, and then rely on your hand eye to make late contact and keep it fair. You’re talking fractions of a difference in timing and swing plane.actually, it's way easier as the ball travels further before you need to swing.
It’s not having fun that’s the problem. It’s being way too leisurely with their approach to games, and then once the pressure is on they have no idea how to handle it because they’re used to playing every game completely laid back. There’s a fine line between staying loose and having fun, and not being serious or focused enough.
Hand is probably the worst choice in this situation. Poor control, low velocity guys don’t fare well when all you need is two sacrifice fly balls to score a fun.Not really blaming Montoyo here. However, there are other options. Could have left Saucedo or even try Snead.
Almost none of Charlie's decisions make sense.I don't really get why Charlie subbed Cimber out for a LHP in Saucedo earlier in the game, but wants Hand going up against 3 righties in extra innings. Like Hand shouldn't be playing at all in high leverage situations, but it doesn't make a ton of sense
