If the Rangers pick need over 'BPA' people go nuts. Is it safe to assume that the majority of this board won't ever be happy with a draft unless we keep winning lottery picks?

BPA is the way to go, and I don't think NYR drafted a LW out of spite. But there were a few consensus picks on the board that were higher than Othman. Maybe our metrics have a blindspot with centers. Maybe we could have traded down for a few extra picks.

I don't doubt that in a few days we hear that Othman was the #4 prospect on the Ranger board out of the whole class. Carp had the name and he can barely be bothered to cover the team. He'll be ahead of more than a few players that the most plugged in posters can't justify.
