These are second tier guys in a notoriously weak draft. There’s a good chance none of the guys in this range end up being NHL centers

My head is going to explode. Drury is a disaster.

Goodrow is playing C. Kravtsov is a RW now full-time. Blais will probably play either wing. People put way too much stock into things like this. Their ETAs all aren’t at the same time. The problem with this franchise too in hating this pick is everybody falls in love with the sexy name or two and when you lock in like that, you set yourself up for disappointment.

Pretty much all the kids available and mocked in the mid first are interchangeable - aside from Wallstedt - and if they didn’t want to draft a goalie in the first, then they didn’t want to draft a goalie.

I really liked the fact that he was training his English and preparing for the leap to the NHL. And add the motivation to play with Shesty, Krav and Panarin. Would have been my pick 100%
