Probably wouldn't cost that much to acquire him. Signed for two more years at a fairly reasonable cap hit of $17.5 million. I believe Vrabel was the one who signed him to that contract, too.

In the history of the NFL no second year player ever developed after only catching 12 passes

That’s quite a stat there
 
1. Titans: Ward QB
2. Cleveland: Sanders QB
3. NYG: Hunter CB/ WR
4. Patriots: Carter? Graham

Deshaun Watson situation has Cleveland pinned in a corner. They absolutely have to eat the cap for one more season AND need a solution at QB. I don’t see them passing on Sanders. I don’t see them spending big on a free agent QB considering what they’ll be dishing out to Watson. Myles Garret requesting trade, they’ll need something to sell to the fanbase. Not sure Abdul Carter is their guy.

It was studied by someone in the media a few months back, wish I still had the piece done on it. But it was staggering and not a good sign for Polk.
