Probably wouldn't cost that much to acquire him. Signed for two more years at a fairly reasonable cap hit of $17.5 million. I believe Vrabel was the one who signed him to that contract, too.

I'd take him. Sad part is on day 1 he'd be the best receiver on the team. It also sounds a little less outlandish when you realize he and Kelce are the same age

Patriots rank 31 out of 32 NFL teams in anonymous player survey, with low marks for travel, weight room, and owner Robert Kraft - The Boston Globe
The surveys were conducted before the Patriots announced plans for a new three-story training facility, which the NFLPA expects will increase the team's ranking in the future.

Deshaun Watson situation has Cleveland pinned in a corner. They absolutely have to eat the cap for one more season AND need a solution at QB. I don’t see them passing on Sanders. I don’t see them spending big on a free agent QB considering what they’ll be dishing out to Watson. Myles Garret requesting trade, they’ll need something to sell to the fanbase. Not sure Abdul Carter is their guy.
