OT: 2021 Football Thread - Part II

Worst cumulative record in the NFL since 2017 as well. I figured that would have been the Jaguars or the Jets, I was surprised to read that.

The best part is that the 2022 draft is looking more and more mediocre as guys disappoint. What was once viewed as one of the potentially deepest drafts ever is now being compared to the 2013 draft.

Of course Gettleman stocks up picks in a draft with a bunch of disappointments. You can't make this up.

It’s the same boneheaded decisions he always makes. Rhule said today they want to go back to running the ball 30-35 times a game, CMC will probably hurt himself the first game back.
 
I said in our fantasy draft chat that I'm the guy who will finish with the fourth-fewest points but win 9-10 games. Currently 9/12 in points scored and 4-2. LOL.

the giants oline gets absolutely no push. been this way for like 10 years now. just utterly pathetic drive from them.
 
the giants make so many dumb mistakes. peart in a standard drop back passing play just runs up field and gets a penalty (like he didnt know what the play was or what he was supposed to do). offense cant line up pre snap. any sort of DL stunt gets a free rusher in on jones, because our oline coach apparently doesnt coach these linemen up.
 
My Dad wants Daniel Jones to be good so bad. He likes the kid but he just can’t accept that he can’t protect the ball. He reminds him of Eli… Jones shows flashes but isn’t the answer for this Giants team.
 
Jones would be great if he has protection IMO. Giants O-line is still a disaster. He would be great with slightly more time and a running game.

hes had one game where he didnt protect the ball in pretty much the past 12 games. thats with playing with basically backups at every position cuz the team is so damn injury prone.

Giants are going nowhere with Jones. Not with Judge either. Time will tell who is right.
