What sucks is that we wasted a brilliant offensive performance against a decent defense.

Between the penalties, the Slayton drop, Jones TD being called back on what definitely wasn't a hold... idk what to say. Speechless.

They could have won that game by two touchdowns. Should have. Defense couldn't stop a nose bleed.
If this isn't a hold then what is?

Tough to tell from a still shot. Unless the rules have completely changed on me, the simple act of grabbing a jersey during a block isn't holding. From the still frame I can't tell if the Giants player has the inside and is pushing the defender to the outside (which would be fine, then, IMO), or if the DB is trying to move on his own towards the sideline/upfield and is being restrained. Would need to see the video. I didn't see it live so I really have no opinion.

EDIT:

I would be fine with it up until the players get right up on the sideline; the Giants player still hasn't let go when the WFT player is trying to peel back. He is materially prevented from making ap lay on the QB by that last little bit of grab. So from that point, it's good. Up until Jones cuts back inside, it's fine IMO.

The WFT player is also grabbing the Giants player for most of that play. It's a 50/50 call until the end when it's definitely holding on NYG.

Maybe it’s been mentioned before but the unbelievable stupidity of calling a timeout and then getting a delay of game penalty that puts you out of field goal range is mind-numbing.
What the hell did they discuss during the timeout?

or how about burning the final timeout on the final drive because they had 13 guys on the field even though Washington just called a timeout and the giants nearly gave them a free 1st down.

I was drunk by the end of the game but reading the comments it was as stupid as I remember it. So I feel better about myself.

Yeah I was in and out watching the game, but sometimes I felt like I was watching Rex Ryan or Todd Bowles Jets--guys who had no idea how to manage a game.

My Broncos looking at a 2-0 start. Von Miller is back and the defense looks sound overall. They will have to really prove it against tougher opponents though.

Must win against JAX today. Next week against the Jets ... nice :)

Haven't posted much recently but Giants fans who are upset/outraged make me laugh, and this is coming from a Giants fan.

This is a terrible team that was thin on OLine and has a mediocre at best quarterback and no true pass rusher.

Any text I get from friends I just respond "4-13" which is what they're going to finish with.

I get called negative but look, this team is the equivalent of those early 2000s dark ages Rangers teams. Rotten at the core.

Golladay was a diva in his Detroit days and Toney has a Beckham attitude with 1/3 the talent. Once Engram comes back (and he's very overrated) those two will see the ball even less and it's going to not be good.

Giants need a complete overhaul.

Gettleman talks about an OLine yet he does nothing to address it. Solder is terrible. Now with Gates out they're in a lot of trouble.

I would've said to keep Judge and get a new GM/regime but he's coaching himself out of a job these past two weeks.
