OT: 2021 Football Thread - Part II

I'd be okay with cutting this entire team and firing every single football related position and just starting from scratch at this point. Shepherd might be the only player on this team worth a damn but he's guaranteed to miss 10 games per year.
 
Patrick Graham, you are a f***ing LOSER. No pressure all night on a 3rd string level QB. None. And as usual you relied on the bend, don’t break bullshit. You let the offense WALK down the field all night with underneath passes. Just f***ing awful coaching. So bad. So incompetent. You let this nobody QB sit comfortably in the pocket all night.


Jones looked good but I have no hope for this team.

Ever since 2002 with the blown lead and botched snaps this team has been doomed to some of the most amazingly dramatic last second losses of any team in the league.

I'd love to see the stats of most games lost in the final 10 seconds over the past 20 years.
 
As a WFT fan,Hopkins scares the shit out of me.Appreciate the do-over though Giants
 
as a fan of the WFT and reading these comments on the game its almost word for word on what was going on in the WFT message board its histerical. That was on of the uggliest wins i can remember but the Giants should have won that game cause the WFT Defense looks lost which is a shock cause i thought it was going to be one of the best in the league
 
I really hope Giants fans just stop showing up. At this point we need another mass season ticket burning in the parking lot during the game.

The entire Giants franchise is lost. The winning culture left when Coughlin went, and Eli was the last bit of dignity they had.

Now they’re a pathetic franchise stuck in the 80’s who refuse to do anything different. The next GM will be another loser from within the organization and they’ll learn nothing from this.

If a playoff team loses a RB and would give up their late 1 for Saquon then I’d be all over it. I hate the way he runs. He never puts his head down and churns for tough yards. Every play he dances before he hits the line scrimmage like he’s expecting to hit a home run going 80 yards untouched.

On a side note, I hate RB’s wearing earrings during the game. It just gives off such a diva vibe. Pregame or postgame? Go for it.
 
After thinking about it, I'm glad they lost the game. This team is clearly rotten at its core, and if they won then they would have skirted by for at least another week. Hopefully this game is the beginning of the end of Gettleman's tenure as GM.

I have to give props to Gettleman though for getting the Bears' 1st next year. It's too bad that this is a wasted season, but there are a lot of decisions for the new GM to make in the offseason and that will be exciting. It's time to start a proper rebuild.

Those two runs after the pick were brutal, it’s 2021 NFL, chances are good WFT was getting in FG range.

If your going to run at least read option which WFT couldn’t stop all night.

I know how that feels. The WFT franchise was lost for 20 yrs when the midget idiot bought the team. As soon as rivera was hired the energy changed immediatly because there was finally an adult in the organization and he cleaned house and fired everyone down to the assistant massage therapist. The franchise has a new life and new optimism.

as a fan of a division rival i hope gettleman stays the GM for yrs to come.
 
the giants defense has played prevent defense the first 2 games. what could graham be thinking about? i could play qb against this giants defense. nfl network commentators were saying all night how soft the giants defense was playing and how easy it was to play pitch and catch. if everyone in the world can see what ur doing is not working, how is the person in charge not capable of seeing it?
 
What sucks is that we wasted a brilliant offensive performance against a decent defense.

Between the penalties, the Slayton drop, Jones TD being called back on what definitely wasn't a hold... idk what to say. Speechless.

They could have won that game by two touchdowns. Should have. Defense couldn't stop a nose bleed.
