OT: 2021 Football Thread - Part II

Glad we didn't sign a veteran QB to start the season. This org is clueless, doesn't matter who is in charge.
 
I am normally against benching a young QB, but I think it's the right move with Wilson right now. He is forcing everything and showing just zero vision right now. Misreading coverages left and right.
 
Talk about two teams whose culture is absolutely rotten at it's core. The Jets are just inept while the Giants can't get out of their own way on and off the field. It's been that way since the turn of the millennium.
 
I just don't know how the Jets think they have built the infrastructure for a young QB to succeed. Backup that hasn't played a snap, no bell cow RB, no real #1WR, some good pieces on the line but Becton is already injury prone. The Dolphins got a ton of pieces to trade down, and honestly without hindsight I felt jealous then. It's nothing against Wilson.

The right move was going after OL and keeping Darnold.

You know, I'm also a fan of the Mets. The Rangers. The Knicks. Navy and Maryland football. DC United soccer team. I know what bad looks like. I've seen some truly awful f***ing teams.

The Jets are the first team that has made me actually consider giving up on them. Like, for real giving up on them. Not just a two week break or whatever. Like a "I am never watching this abortion of an organization again" type of giving up.

RedZone is honestly a lifesaver. The idea of watching complete Jets games with all the commercials now is awful.
