I won't be surprised at all if Seattle takes Judge. I mentioned this months ago, people didn't understand why Seattle would take a to-be UFA. The goalie Market is going to be hot this summer. He seems like a good goalie who will have good value. Seattle should select him to have exclusive negotiating rights before he hits the open market, or they can swing a deal for him and get good value on the trading block.
Either way I would bet he is the player from Florida selected in the expansion draft. Best case scenario for the Panthers.

Ya makes sense for both parties. He gets paid to be a 1B type and they don't commit long term to screw up their cap. He's still young enough to be in their long term plans but also curious where Andersen goes.

TOR ran him out of town after he was the glue for 4 of the past 5 years.
I'm think EDM has to definitely address that need.

And lastly, where Ned goes, I think this guy is gonna be a top 10 goalie soon enough.

You see, the solution is simple. Have someone like Stralman go to surgery, add an extra 5 million in cap, and use that towards landeskog and other RFA's..

Completely legal. Completely friendly.

State of Florida hockey baby ..NHL and Tampa Bay style...they could even get cool T- shirts made too...think of the teams new revenue stream @ $50 a shirt at the Arena...:sarcasm:

He's probably going to that at least. Maybe he can get it to closer to $5mil per if he goes to FA.
Driedger has played 41 NHL games. I'd be stunned if any team gave him nearly that much money for very little experience at this level.

If he gets $4 Million and some term he should take it and run. Remember, he bombed during the playoffs last year and was regressing as the season went on. Any team doing any bit of research will know this too.

Talbot got a $4.16milx3 after 57 games five years ago and his playoff stats weren't that good either. Driegs could get ~$4.5mil on the open market plus he could get to play for a lot better team than Seattle.

And that Talbot contract was a mistake.

Remember, flat cap as well. Teams are not going to be throwing money around, even Seattle.

Flat cap but that Talbot contract was signed when the cap was at $73mil. GMs are always throwing money around, it's just that Dale isn't part of that particular group anymore.

And can't get them signed because of all-star Kaptain Keith's buyout, Bob and Strals.

Good for Judge if true. He's gonna get paid and will likely shut us out both games we play them

Taking Judge would be excellent for Florida. Gudas is replacable, so is Vatrano, Acciari etc, but I'd rather keep them and lose a player not coming back anyways. I don't think he will shut Florida out, they will be bad and Florida should be one of the best teams in the league.

I dont want to lose Gudas tho. He can change momentum with his physical play.
We've been soft since 1996.
Gallants 2015-16 team had a bit but not what we just saw this past year.

Lol you didn't catch the backup on a shit team that shuts us out every game joke?

So according to Andy Strickland...
Avs are offering Landeskog lower AAV than he signed for in 2013.
Landeskog is looking for $9m+ on the open market.
Somehow Landeskog thinks Tampa, Toronto, Vegas, or the Islanders will make room for him.

Seems destined for St. Louis in my opinion. I bet this expedites the Tarasenko trade as well because they'll want to trade him before they ink Landeskog.

I don’t really see Landy leaving Colorado and breaking up a dynamite first line. I see both sides getting something done but I guess we’ll see.

Landy isnt worth 9 million but they paid Rantanen that soooooo....

MacK is also gonna want 12.5 no doubt. Plus they need to sign Makar.

Could be odd man out unless he takes a discount. Tough to swallow for the captain.
