Is anybody else concerned about the lack of competition in our group. Slovakia, Switzerland and Germany aren't exactly gangbusters to begin with but aside from Switzerland all our competition are now losing top players for odd reasons Germany is missing Seider, Slovakia is missing Cajkovic and Finland is missing Puistola. The first competition we might face might be in the quaterfinals or semis.
Imo on paper Canada, Sweden and the US are quite clearly the top 3
I'll take the easier games and hopefully htose are enough of a tune up to get them ready for the better teams in the playoffs. The Canadian team is stacked but barely any of them have been playing at all, vs a team like Sweden whose players have all been playing in pro leagues for hte most part. Get a few easier games out of the way with an almost guarantee of winning the pool is a good thing
