So glad they won after the way the Oiler tied it up. Man our pp has hurt the team so bad in this series, both for and against. EDM 1st goal came right after a failed pp and not being able to keep the puck in the zone. Then the shorty on the double minor, where once again, not keeping it in and setting up a clean entry. Who was Moore passing it into the middled to, McDavid? They need someone to take charge of the 2nd unit for sure. We've scored 2 and given up 2 . That's not good.

How does the NHL handle these matters? Are the Kings supposed to send in a request? The headbutt is a textbook multigame suspension. Shouldnt a head butt be treated with same severity as kicking an opponent?

Im seriously confused as to why what would clearly be reviewable, suspendable offenses in the regular season get ignored in the playoffs.

Would like to see Kane finally get a fine after his antics twice now--won't happen, they penalized him in game. Lucky Lizotte isn't hurt.

Would like to see Kassian get a fine. Doubt it will even get a look.

Nurse absolutely deserves a suspension between the other night and last night--the two handed slash just seconds before the headbutt screams screw loose, but I'm willing to bet it just gets a fine just because.

NHL doesn't have the balls to hurt McDavid's chances of advancing vs. a team of nobodies, it'll be bad for ratings. They're lucky it was a late game and the Oilers are on the favored side of the slate (remember when Doughty got suspended for checking a plug who just released the puck?).

Someone is gonna get hurt as a result of one of those three at some point soon if the DOPS doesn't do something. ESPECIALLY after letting them do whatever they want, why would they feel like they'll get penalized for anything at this point?

Loved how the Oilers never even got a chance in OT, two solid shifts by the Kings, then a turnover by the Oilers, and Juice walks around McDavid and scores. Looked like that goal McDavid scored on the Kings in game 1. Suck it Oilers!

i think had the coilers won than maybe Nurse misses a game, but given it is an elimination game no way he gets suspended. Same with Kane's elbow on Lizotte and Kassian's crosscheck. LA needed to put Edmonton away on those PP's and did not. Yes they got one goal, but gave it right back allowing a shorty.

All three I could see getting a fine though.

What a wild game that was. I felt a little comfortable when Danault scored...but that sure as shit did not last long.

Edit: Although I did not think Doughty would get suspended against Vegas either.

Yeah it's just not a hockey play at all. It's not a crosscheck that rides up or an overexuberant punch or hit, you have to think about that unnatural a move, that's an intent to knock Danault out for the series.

Yea he played well this season but made blunders here and there. He has been pretty flawless this series.
The hate is carried over from previous years probably. Costing the team goals against.
Hes respected now though I dont see anyone on his case constantly.

Edmonton plays like the teams that frustrate me the most when I play. Constant little pick plays and interference. Everything just little enough not to be called. Good on them I guess but just annoys me. As for the video. 2 min left in a tie game 5 with series tied, I would be pissed if that was called.

Side note: Anyone else think Edmonton's coach looks like a weasel. Seems like he should be selling refurbished vacuums somewhere.

I said before, if LA just gets past the Oilers I'll be happy. Still need to get that 4th win and that is the hardest to get. I think they can contend with Cgy and Dal but the shape that special teams is in will likely limit their possibilities.

I will say LA’s best power plays of the series were in last night’s game. All it takes in the playoffs is to get hot and lucky at the same time.
