I've always hated the Oilers since their inceptions. They've always been up there with the Ducks, Sharks and Knights for me.

You knew the kid forwards weren’t getting a lot of playing time in Edmonton because Todd fears them out there vs McDavid and Drai.

Also this is exactly what this team is needing and it’s showing. Since the team is so young and inexperienced they needed confidence. You say this during the regular season. They got it and went wild. Now they’re getting it here and it’s showing with the never say die attitude.

After seeing what’s been going on this season I’m thinking the teams leadership crew might be better than most have given credit for. It’s definitely been helped by adding new blood, new blood with the fire of never winning. But Durzi talking about Brown tapping him on the leg and Danault and Kopitar have such a calmness to them it probably helps the youngsters to not get rattled, especially now. Doughty being the cheerleader right inside the tunnel every night. And Quick, well Quick is Quick.

I don't like Roy in general--he takes far too long to make decisions and is usually late for reading assignments. He also has litttle to zero offensive threat. Hopefully, he's a mere stopgap for our young maturing D-corps.

Boy was i wrong about signing of Danault. He didn't seem like the big-name sexy/flashy center we've been craving-- he's the smart, hardnosed playmmaker and tenacious defensive dynamo we desperately needed.

DANAULT makes everyone on the ice better and thats one incredible intangible I wasn't aware of.

I have to be up at 6am local for me for work. It was past midnight when period 3 ended last night for me, so i had to go to bed not knowing how late it would go. Plus i didnt have a great feeling seeing how 2nd half of 3rd period went. What a nice surprise to wake up to! If id known i woulda stayed up haha.

Gotta say win or lose this series, or whenever it ends, Brown looks like he is going to go out on his terms. Stepping up in the playoffs is something he has always done, and its continuing here. Great to see.

Great win last night. I admit I turned it off mid-way through the third (had stuff to do before bed) but glad I came back to watch OT. I honestly had the Kings winning this series, but just as honestly a bit more because the Oilers just aren't a good hockey team.

So please, boys, finish off the Oilers next game and not only take a huge step for this young team, but as an added bonus kill any Alberta dreams of a Calgary-Edmonton series.

I said it after the previous incidents...that's exactly why I would have liked to have seen fines for Nurse and Kane, they would have been on notice, and last night's incidents would be suspensions for sure. Instead, the NHL let them go, and the refs let them go in game...only for Nurse to TRY To get kicked out only taking Moore with him. Last night, we were VERY fortunate Nurse/Kane/Kassian didn't try to do more dirty shit in the third, that was AWFUL management by the refs not kicking any single one of them.

How a series of events that starts with a reckless Kane knee, a Kassian premeditated crosscheck from behind after skating across half the ice, a f***ing baseball swing slash by Nurse, and a clearly premeditated headbutt by Nurse results in only a 2 minute Kings powerplay (and a roughing to Lizotte LOL) and no misconducts is just absolutely gross negligence.

This market HAS to make noise at the Nurse headbutt at least, that guy has been getting progressively dirtier all series and at this point it's absolutely enabled by the NHL if he doesn't get a look.
