Seriously, if guys are playing through it, they're risking everyone they come in contact with, especially the Kings.

Looking at this from the Red Wings lens, drafting big defensemen like Seider and Edvinsson - guys who will never produce Makar numbers though they might be more valuable.
They'll probably make 60-70 percent of what Makar makes.

Get a good goalie.
Good, hard, two-way defensemen.
Get a few two-way Danault-style centers.
That's how I'd build my team.

Let the other teams watch the awards show. I'll watch the playoffs.

You're probably right, outside of the clawing Edler's face and a million free hand punches, he at least has the plausible deniability of most of his stuff is flow-of-the-play.

Just extremely disappointed in such light discipline for Nurse for a complete non-hockey play from a guy with a DOPS history as well as examples of outside-of-play incidents in this series. Can you imagine if he broke Danault's jaw, or seriously concussed him?
