So many instances this season where the Kings look like they can take on the world and then the next few games they look like they can get can beaten up by an ECHL team. I was so excited going into these and these performances are just so depressing knowing that its basically just an extended regular season for us

Kings are not ready for elite teams yet on a night in and night out basis
 
How can these f***s sit in front of the camera and say the Kings have a good shot to tie the series on Sunday with a straight face.

8 to 2 drubbing I mean is anyone surprised. We all know this series is over. This team is just way too soft we all know what it takes to win in the playoffs. It was a miracle we made it to the post season and it will take a bigger miracle to win this series. Time to regroup for next season give the "C" to Danault, go on from there. Really truly amazing we made it this far. Not even upset to be honest cuz wasn't expecting much anyways. It is what it is. Although I think the Oilers are gonna lose in the next round they still have the 2 best players in the world on the same team. We were just not good enough plain and simple.
 
Based on how the Kings are playing. It is really amazing how they made the playoffs. They struggle mightly in scoring goals and their defensive play isn't good at all. If the Oilers can make them look this bad, just think what the Avs would do to them. They would be losing 20-0

This is the Oilers best chance at a cup in 16 years. If we lose to Dallas or Calgary in the second round, come to our board. You will see some severe depression lol. Good night my man

Bottom line, Kings lack top tier talent. They talk alot about the talent they have but who do they have that is like the level say a Stamkos or Kucherov. I'm not mentioning Macdavid nor Mattews because those are generational players. Even a Panarin type player. Kings have no one close to that. They ended the rebuild to quickly, it’s gotten us a fun season this year (no matter what happens) with some nice performances by veterans, but for the rebuild it wasn’t a great year. The ROI on major investments is a big concern.

If the Kings are contending for a cup in 3-years what do all the boxes look like? I still feel like there are multiple big holes that need to be filled and I’d rather be filling those with a top 8 pick than pick 18
