We look fine - biggest problem I see is we have to have so many chances to score. We're totally dominating, look great, and it's 2-1 cause of Eichel.

It isn’t a real match if only ONE side can play with no DQ.

I try to avoid going out of my way to complain about referees, but that was horrendous. Like, “where is the payola“ bad.

A reffing loss here, but Hill was outplayed and it was the difference in this. Hill has been either over sliding way far from where he needs to be or he's timidly going to the other side way too slow like on a couple of the goals.

A game we totally dominated but no finishers except Jack you know who and you can't win giving up so many bad goals. Poor PK as well.

Yup, we got a little screwed by the refs not calling some obvious penalties when the game was tied, but we had a 2 on 0 and couldn't even get a sniff at the net, and Hill was badly out-played by Quick. We didn't lose cause of the refs even though they were one-sided.

Game should've been like 5-1 in the second period and a laugher.

This is where I miss both Marchessault and Thompson.

A little more “finish” and reliable goaltending goes a long way.

Not claiming perfection, but I had more confidence in platooning Hill & Thompson than Hill & Sammy.

Less about game-to-game stats and more about how the rhythm may have benefitted both goalies. I don’t think they have that sweet spot with Samsonov. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

iI'm aware but it's a moot point. Thompson's fiance is a political consultant working out of Washington. He wanted to be traded to the east coast and would of walked after this year and we'd of gotten nothing for him.

The reality is that we're paying only about 6.5 million for goaltending allows us to go out and get others at the TDL. If could could score (which is the real problem) it would take some pressure off our defense and goalies.

We should of won the last two games, instead we got 1 point.

Fitting it was groundhog day yesterday. 3 straight weeks of playing the same game over and over.

Nice to see Saad shoot on a 2 on 1 in the first period. I can't remember the last time one of our players did that on an odd man break. I'm sure he was promptly fined and warned to never do that again and shown the tape of the 2 on 0 from later in the game to show what's supposed to happen.
