Because they need production from that line, they are all highly drafted players who are being put in a spot where they need to produce. They aren't facing top checkers or asked to check other top lines.

I don’t disagree that they need production from those guys, but they’re rookies playing limited minutes. How many goals do Kopitar and Iafallo have in the last two months? 5? You aren’t going to win when that’s 2/3 of your top line.

Quite a few actually - they got Mac 2013 and Rantanan 2015.. Makar 3rd in Vilardi draft, and Byram 4th in Turcotte draft.. thats all i recall

Right? Durzi is not a systems guy - but at least he's fun to watch - would like to see more play makers on the team. I think Roy and Spence or Durzi will be only ones around after camp breaks. I hope they keep spence up

It's just not working, they need more from this line than they have gotten.

No line with Byfield as its center is going to have much success.
