GDT: 2021-22 season game 76 LA Kings vs Colorado Avalanche @6:30pm 4/13/22

I had the misfortune of witnessing this massacre in person. It looked like a minor league team playing an NHL team. On another note, the seats at Ball Arena are incredibly small. I'm 6ft tall and my knees were smashed against the seat in front of me. There's no way I'd want to go to a game there again unless there is a standing room only section or in a suite.

Maybe, but if you look at the top 4 teams in the NHL let's just say point wise, Colorado, Florida, Carolina and Toronto....this is what you end up with let's use 25 GP as a base,

Toronto's defense is a shitshow. Can't get past round 1.
Colorado hasn't been past round 2.
Florida hasn't been beyond round 1.
Carolina got to the conference finals 3 years ago, but lost in round 1 and round 2.

These are all teams that haven't got it done.

As I said, playoff yet to be determined, but all 4 teams haven't had the defense they have had....

Here’s the answer I got from the NHL Hack Coach Answers AI website when asking about Kaliyev’s demotion after being a PPG player. Curious to see what a $25M real life coach has to say.

Well, if you’re specifically talking about Kaliyev, he’s a young player who has had a lot of success as a goal scorer at the junior and AHL levels. We’re looking for him to become that player for the LA Kings.

We’ve asked him to focus on all facets of the game. That being said, we are in playoff mode now, with at least two games of home gate revenue up for grabs. We’re excited about celebrating Orthodox Faith night tonight against the Blue Jackets with the return of AA22 to the lineup. All fans in attendance will get a free hotdog and 1 year subscription to the athletic.

LAKI had a quote from the coach about what production looks like.

He sounds like he’s talking about contributing, not producing.
