I have to admit, out of all the players we've drafted in the last 12 years, I was most disappointed about Forbort. Not overall, sure there were worst picks, but it was 2010, the draft was in LA, I came down to watch, I was so amped, and the trip sucked because I went with friends who didn't care and made me way late for the draft, but I got there for the pick and was so excited... and then we picked Forbot. :P A poindexter, raw, project, longshot stay-at-home d-man. In all honesty, though, I wanted Etem, and he's not even in the league anymore, so what the hell do I know... Still was one of the more disappointing drafts I've had with the Kings, and it was in LA... Drafting Toffoli made up for a bit of it though...

Wow missed the game but great freakin win. Back game of a back to back too against a good east team. 3 and 1 on this roadie. Not bad not bad at all.

Say what you want about AA, but he has that game breaker ability that flashes now and then.

I can think of a handful of games we've won because of a goal from him.

8 goals in 21 games. 3 game winners.

@Raccoon Jesus please tell me AA is doing better stats wise. He’s coming up big. Hope that’s showing up on the sheets too

Yup. He's a talented player with warts. When he capitalizes, it's easy to look through his lows.

AA gets the credit today but what a warrior Durzi is.
Had to play heavy minutes because of injuries and struggled at times because of it but with the pressure on in crunch time he made an elite play that lead to the tying goal.

Easily the surprise player and the Kings best rookie this year.

When they went up from 19th to 15th I was sure we were gonna take Tarasenko :(

I'll volunteer; but only if he continues to play like this.

Holy f*** what a gutsy win. That's a lesson learning win. Especially after that Boston loss sent them into a bit of a spiral, and the game in Dallas, it's nice to see them dig down deep against CBus but especially tonight, I love that they despite being clearly totally gassed decided "okay thats enough" of getting pushed around and started taking the game right back at Boston. Not a "pretty" win by any means but I'd argue the grittiest one of the season and one of the most important. From 7-0 at home to a 3-2 comeback OT win on a road with a depleted roster on game 8 in 13 nights, that's a character win, a playoff team win.

Maatta has been a beast lately.

Durzi stepped up like a madman every time he does when someone gets hurt.

Hope Drew is just bruised...if he's down again as well as Anderson...and Lemieux and Arvidsson...we may be in for a ride.

I know I'm grumpy in so many ways about it but the depth of this roster continues to step up in these situations, Grundstrom was ready to play and had an impact all night, AA might be the secret 3v3 weapon since he gives no f***s about structure and is an individual menace loaded with talent.

Moverare next man up?

Was thinking 2/3 of the way through the game the team and Cal deserved a point, that would have been a good reward and a great way to end such a shitty luck trip. I was stoked when they tied it for 1 and figured it would be an OTL with Kempe out and guys just totally depleted. Imagine my pleasant surprise.

This f***ing road trip is really doing a number on the guys, so many injuries. Nevertheless, they continue to persevere.

Both him and Roy. They both played heavy minutes tonight! Actually the entire D, even Maata, really, really stepped up.
