I remember a Byfield shift, came in off the change, took the puck at the blueline, and made a power move to the front, exactly what I wanted to see the other day.....very good sign

He didnt get many shifts after the first period even though he had a solid first. Hes being sheltered

This is where it started with Kempe and McAvoy. They were battling and McAvoy went down at the side of the net, as if he was tripped. He went right after Kempe the next shift, and the next. Then Forbort did too, the ref just watched as he worked him over behind the play. Kempe just stood his ground while Forbort kept crosschecking him. Then after tying it up, they fought.

mcavoy literally left his lane to shoulder up kempe and went stone stiff on contact, one of the worst dives i've seen

i'd say i can't believe the refs let forbort get away with all that for 2 shifts in a row, but they're NHL refs after all

Teammates and world class NHL players, Rasmus Dahlin and Elias Pettersson pale in comparison to what Team Sweden Captain Lias Andersson does in the 18 WJC.

If only that Lias Andersson - Vilardi pairing had made it into the regular season, healthy.

Hope he gets his shot and shines.

Agree. Kinda like JAD...with the way he was tearing it up in ONT, I expected to see more in these few games. Haven't seen much.....
