Is it 'dinguses,' or 'dingii?'The Avs weren't great today. Another inability to generate high danger chances against a very bad hockey club demonstrates this team's need for more high-end forward depth.
Getting dinguses like Mittelstadt, Colton, and Wood off of this team for players with legit skill would be a godsend.
Whenever Colton and Wood are on the ice I expect nothing offensively and potential breakdowns defensively.
He's feeling more and more like (and I mean this as a compliment) our JTC replacement. Solid defensively, can win important faceoffs and can chip in with the occasional clutch goal. He slots into the 3C role like a glove, unlike what they've been trying to force with Colton since they acquired him. He’s so smart out there, it’s a treat to watch
Would be nice to have a 2C with at least 60 point capability. Mitts is on pace for like 48 pointsI’m honestly not sure what some of you are expecting out of Mittelstadt. He’s been fine the past week or so as the 2C.
You guys think the 2C should be 2022 Kadri but that’s an outlier.

Pretty sure Nate would be happier if we stopped inviting dudes to crash his pad all summer.Mittens issues seems to easy to fix. Move your feet, shoot more and stop with the cute NCAA soft passes and train in the offseason with Mackinnon.
90% of the time its Mittens thats the weakness.Pretty sure Nate would be happier if we stopped inviting dudes to crash his pad all summer.
If Mitts can just get out of his head, we really are setup for nice center depth. He gives the second line a completely different look and feel. Mitts is intelligent and looks to exploit weaknesses where Nate is a conquerer and takes what he wants through pure domination at times.
For the last several months, unfortunately, that's been the case. But we saw after the trade deadline last season and early on this season a completely different player. He was also much better in BUF.90% of the time its Mittens thats the weakness.
For sure. Whatever is going with Mittelstadt a part of it for sure is between the ears. For the last several months, unfortunately, that's been the case. But we saw after the trade deadline last season and early on this season a completely different player. He was also much better in BUF.
I think Nate has mentioned using a sports psychologist, he should probably get Mitts in touch with someone to help him explore ways to permanetly disentangle his head from his rectum.
Kovalenko will be back in Russia soon enoughA win:win since Kovalenko is scoring at 0.5 PPG for them.
