I'm waiting patiently for all the attention the Kings should be getting for being a predicted bottom-dweller to finding themselves in 2nd place in the division, just like the Ducks got last month.

Also curious how many will say "bUt THe PaCifIc" despite having so few games against them so far.

Lizotte took a beating in that game. Manhandled.

Seattle D corps average around 6'4" - that may have something to do with it. I also think advance scouting has him on the radar and they probably talked about what to do with him.. Seattle Kraken 2021 Roster

No one anywhere has mentioned how awkward their arena is. WTF are those box sections down toward the ice? Looks so janky. Doesn't even look like a legitimate NHL arena. Very unimpressive team so far in all aspects - logo, uniforms, arena, on ice product, etc.

You should have seen what a cluster the pre-season ticket sales process was like.

Always encouraging to find wins in different ways. This was the sort of win the Kings strung together multiple times in a row last year - and last year, you could sense there would be troubles going forward.

This time it just seems like an off game and they still won.

Pretty much, Also, I'm going to chalk it up to not really knowing what to expect from them. This was the first game ever against them and in their building. Danault even said the board were really weird and super alive. Take the points and then go to SJ and punch them in the neck too.

You could tell they were getting pissed that they couldn't just muscle him since he escapes pins and outmaneuvers them.

Seattle got away with playoff reffing last night for sure, LOT of interference and literal free-hand grabbing.

Good to see that Lizotte can still take it and go, when you show the other team you're not going to stop playing just because you're getting hit, you wear THEM down. Unfortunately last night only Lizotte and a small group of otehrs did so, most guys were happy to avoid being hit.
