Byfield looks like he is coming along well. Hoping for a big season for him to boost his confidence. The sooner he takes over the 1C spot and pushes everyone down a notch on the depth chart, the better things will be looking for the Kings long term.

The purple (forum blue) and gold aren't just popular with Kings fans, they considered some of the best jerseys league-wide. Why can't we have them as our thirds? We don't need anymore grey/black/white.

So if a 25 year old who has a go back to Russia clause can't make a team that finished near the bottom of the league again, although with raised expectations this year, that's going to make some other guy not want to come over one day? Kubalik said GTFO to the Kings, and Tkachev still signed here. Kovalchuk was unceremoniously dispatched of, and Tkachev still signed.

Things will be ok.

Even though it’s their historical colors and the Lakers, Vikings, Sacramento Kings and Ravens all wear purple. The Los Angeles Kings have some huge issue with anything other than silver and black and grey.
