Kopitar got a lot of love on The Power Play today for his birthday.

1. 1,000 points in LA with his best season only being 92 points is ridiculous. Still a dominant and elite player.
2. Would have 1,300-1,400 points already if he was in Pittsburgh or Washington.
3. One of the most underrated players of ALL TIME.
4. First ballot Hall of Famer.

Kopitar is the elite of the elite, only 2 other players have won multiple Selke awards, a Cup, AND scored 1,000 points (Brind'Amour and Fedorov). Kopitar is only 1 of 2 to have multiple of both (Fedorov). I do believe before he retires he'll match Fedorov with 2 Selke wins AND 3 Cup wins.

This would be insane!!! Would be more impressive then the first two.

As I recall it was on Mayors Manor that Yannetti mentioned that they targeted Wallstedt once they saw he was dropping but with the Wild trading up for him they had to change course. Can't accomplish everything in 1 free agency or 1 NHL draft. Same goes for that coveted 1 LD.
