Feeling like Byram’s career is over, he can’t make it through a game without getting a concussion. 4 concussions in a year, he’s done.

It is too early for that, but things are gonna have to change. Avs need to get him to a specialist (send him to Crosby's guy) and just let the process take however long it does. Byram will have to tone down his game so he isn't targeted as much. I hate to say it too... Bryam needs a bigger, physical partner to help him out in that department as well. Hopefully Helleson will pan out and develop more nasty to his game. Take the focus off Byram on the pairing.

Did they report this is another one? Could it be lingering from the last? Maybe they are playing it safe if he woke up with a headache or something.

I agree it’s not looking great but maybe they’re just being extremely careful.

Is Chambers getting this head related news for Bo from somewhere specifically? All I see from the team itself is word of a UBI.

Okay so this is interesting because it IS Mike Chambers, he who baselessly speculated that the Avs are in some sort of rush to trade Sam Girard.

So, it's not completely out of the realm that he's just assuming it's head/concussion related when it could be something else.

That said, the flip-side is also true: it is likely that it's head/concussion related and the old adage of "a broken clock is right twice a day" would apply here with Chambers.

It wasn't Kolesar who started the cycle....
You think it was that dumb fight?

Edit: Just rewatched it and that can't be the case. He didn't get hit cleanly, he looked completely fine on the ice after the fight and in the penalty box.

This is a nightmare that keeps on running for years now.....

I've never seen a professionell sports team that injury-prone and riddled for years now......And, of course unlucky.

If it's indeed concussion-related, Byram's short career is allready in jeopardy....

Unbelievable....

The video is up.

"He doesn't have a concussion but he's got some issues going on from his previous injury, wasn't feeling great this morning so he's out"

Ugh this sucks. Really hope it's something other than a concussion.

Have to admit though, even in his first game back I was slightly concerned because he kept squinting, and even kept looking up and around the building like he was seeing how his eyes reacted to the light. Light sensitivity being one of the major symptoms of post concussion syndrome.

I didn't say anything because I was hoping I was just reading too into the situation, but it was giving me Calvert vibes when he came back too early and wore that pink visor, right before they shut him down again.

Bo said he'd been feeling good for a while though so who knows. Hopefully this is something other than concussion related, but it's obviously concerning.

Could be... he got caught one and may have hit his head on the way down. All seems minor enough, but if you are predisposed to concussions, seemingly minor bumps in the wrong spots can cause them.

I don't even know if that's better than a new concussion or worse.

IMO far worse... Avs shouldn't have let him play. Completely irresponsible of the medical staff.

The worst part about this entire season so far is that we keep having to watch MacDermid attempt to play D.

Sounds like either vertigo/post concussion syndrome or a neck issue. Either way awful news for the kid. The Avs need to reach out to other teams around the league for concussion experts.

If Byram doesn't have a concussion, that means it's not headaches or concussion related no? Maybe it's sore neck or something
