Why did they hire 5 front office staff, MIT and Harvard grads, uber analytics geniuses, a baseball guy, data experts.....and what do they do with their reports and data?
You don't need all of that to see that Brown and Maatta are detrimental at all facets of the game, by eye test, or any metrics.
Rebuilds are about identifying which players are failing and not part of the future and removing them. Immediately. Then replacing them with players ready
for promotion. Players ready to play now: JAD, Grundstrom, Clague. AA back in a week or 2. Byfield in 3-4 weeks. By January, any of: Turcotte, Vilardi, Fagemo, Tkachev. Frk even.
It seems when AA and Byfield are ready, there will be way too many forwards. Andersson needs a permanent spot as well. He's not a bubble player. He created more offense in under
10 minutes, than Iafallo, Moore, Danault, Kupari, Brown, have created in their past 4 games. If Byfield and Andersson take spots, that leaves several bubble players: Kaliyev, Kupari,
Brown, Grundstrom. In reality, AA and Moore are close to bubble players. The problem is, Brown should be first to go, but will end up playing 13 minutes and other more capable
players get screwed.
Why hire all of these types of front office staff?
