To be fair, it's probably fun for the other teams, but that's amazing. Out-chanced 30-4 with them on the ice. More than half of the shot attempts against them have been scoring chances.

Speaking doing the same thing over and over, how about the Kings zone entry strategy on the powerplay? Holy f***ing shit, if they slingshot it back to Kempe while the other team just waits at the blueline one more time I am going to lose my mind.

And then PP2 comes in and tries the dump & chase, which leads to a board battle for 10 seconds, which leads to either the Kings barely winning the board battle and panicking on a pass, or a clear.

God even that headline makes me want to run thru a wall for Quickie.

I'm glad he's playing well and getting respect in the back end of his career, Campbell's effusive praise of him in TO is probably helping his image, too.

A world where Carey Price is seen as the best goalie of the generation and future HOFer while Quick is just a guy is terrible.

I assume he will go to the AHL for some time. May even play in the world juniors. Kick the can down the road in case of injury or for someone to overpay for AA, Moore, or someone else.

I think he goes to the AHL and is recalled once he shows he's over the injury/in game shape/got the rust off. I say about five games. If he goes to the WJC I'd be surprised but not outright shocked. When is he due back again?

I get that, but Maatta is not a vet that can be leaned on.

I cannot disagree with this in the slightest. Drew is almost back by the looks of it, I hope they sit Maatta and stick Clague/Durzi with someone like Anderson or preferably Edler.

If a trade happens it cant be a 1 for 1 as the logjam will continue. It will either be for picks which isn't very sexy but a 2 player and pick for a better than average player would be huge.

I assume a player for a pick. Lizotte or Moore for a 4th would likely be the type of deal done at this point in the season. Tampa is getting pretty thin upfront. Who has a bunch of guys in COVID protocols these days?

when he went down i thought he would rush back to try and make team canada. I still think this is what is going on. Hope to be wrong

WOW....a little gooder. At least Andersson moves up to Danault and Iafallo and not centering Moore and Brown.
I hope Lias scores 1 goal, 1 assist tonight and kills it on that line. He must, or may be sitting again.
The bubble players to TM, must overcome and kill it to stay in the lineup.

But if you're Moore, Lizotte, Maatta and playing your hardest, regardless of results, you always stay in.
Granted, Lizotte has elevated his game.

No, it's total amount from the last time he cleared if I recall correct. Otherwise he could really play the whole season and never have to clear if you just sent him down and recalled him after ever game.
