I like Moore a lot.
He didn't play well early, but I think he's regained his form recently. The points will come.
Moore's offensive inconsistencies are why he's a bottom sixer not a top sixer. See Trevor Lewis.
He's still doing everything right and creating turnovers and supporting the puck so would be hard to displace him , the points will come.
Edit: yep looking up the metrics and he just has some absolute shit luck right now which I think matches the eye test, only a matter of time till stuff starts going in. Lowest real on-ice shooting % on the team, some bad goaltending luck too, he's got an xGF% of 58% which is highest for forwards on the team and an actual GF% that's nearly lowest on the team lol, that's gonna reconcile to some degree soon, hope it starts tonight!
I have a better question....when was the last time this team was above .500 (besides after the first game of this season)?
It looks like my quick answer was wrong. Looks like the winning streak during February of this year was the most recent longest in the league winning streak for the Kings. Good thing work IT issues gave me the time to double check.March 2020.
"Hey Olli, What's a Maatta with your play?"
IMO we should move Frk and Tkachev up.
Frk is killing it with 8 goals and 8 assist in 10 games and Tkachev has 5 points in 3 games.
Those guys have nothing to prove in the AHL anymore.
Frk - Kopitar - Arvidson
Iafallo - Danauld - Kempe
Tkachev - Kupari - AA
Lemieux - Lizotte - Brown
This might work
While i absolutely agree, i thinks it's a total waste having those guys in the AHL.For the last 5 games what LA is putting out has worked. Too much change for change sake for me

Boy oh Boy i really don't want to be Austin Wagner right now.
Even the winger get their stuff together these days
Good news, kids!
And it literally broke the world.March 2020.
Last season when they started well
No matter what way you slice it someone was going to be in the AHL who someone could argue should not be. It is a fair case for Frk IMO, but again someone has to be down there. Grundstrom, Moore, Frk, Tkachev, Wagner, Lizotte, Kupari, Kaliyev, Byfield. That was the group fighting for a few spots.
I have guys I like more than who LA has gone with, but right now hard to argue.
I wouldn't be opposed to a change or two, our PP & PK are putrid and something's gotta give.
When? After 12 games, they were 3-6-3. It took a six-game win streak to "right the ship". After that six-game win streak, they finished the season 12-22-4. Statistically, the high point of last season occurred after game 18 when we were 9-6-3, which is just a .500 team with extra steps.
At this point the only thing Brown is useful at on the powerplay is screening the goalie. I'd rather see Grundstrom get a shot there since he's shown some aptitude and might be able to do pretty much anything else on top of that (hustle ont he forecheck for example). If it were me I would focus on the PP. I would not change bodies in out and out of the line up while winning, but I would change PP roles. I would put Kaliyev on the first unit. Something like Brown-Kopitar-Kaliyev-Kempe/Iafallo-Clague
