Seems like another Armstrong summer where we see the war of attrition, loss of meaningful players, trust that he has something big in the works, then it ends up mediocre to bad until the next time he fleeces someone months or years down the line and we forget again that the offseasons are often terrible.

Yep, something has to give. There's definitely more to come, and if Army didn't want to keep Perron at that salary, have to think he's thinking bigger.
Still think he'll trade Scandella plus a mid-round pick to a cap floor team for a late round pick. Also guessing Barby/Peru/Bolduc or 2023 1st for Chychrun.
And I think we now see why we settled on Greiss instead of Chucky Sideburns.

Yeah, this more then any other move by Armstrong baffles me. He's been a 60 point per 82 game, at min, guy for 4 of the last 5 years. You can't do 5 mill for 2 years?
