Kinda funny that two of the more memorable plays in the Finals (Bozak tripping non-call and the hit on Thomas) involved Krug and Acciari and they are now here.

I think Greiss has higher upside but his downside is that of Chris Johnson. I'm pretty meh on the Greiss deal but I wouldn't have been thrilled with Halak either.

I wonder if Halak is still butthurt about not playing more towards the end of his Blues tenure. I seem to recall him sulking on the bench when Elliott was given the start in the playoffs and then the next time his team came to town he didn't wanna play against the Blues because it would have been too difficult for him.

That being said, I would have welcomed him back. I'm ok with Greiss though. Not very exciting but he's competent.

I wonder if he'll give Army a heads up on the dollar amount to see if we bite. I want Perron back, but not above 5 million

At this moment, with Perron gone, Leddy signed, backup goalie signed, 4th liner signed, it looks like one of Neighbors/Bolduc has room to emerge onto the roster. The forwards are going to be fine, even if it's a sad day.

The issue is (still) the defense. Leddy at 4x4 is part of the solution. Krug and Scandella making 10M is the major issue on this roster.

I'm speechless. Leddy coming back, let team biggest player go nothing.

Perron was and is winner. Bad move let him go.

But in Army we trust. This isn't end Army's moves.

I don't like where our d-core is heading.

Krug isn’t even an issue. Scandella is.

Leddy at 4x4 is not a player you have to shelter. But Krug at 5x6.5 can't play PK, can't keep up with Colorado's speed. He has to go
We’ve had this discussion before and we disagree on viewing Krug as apart of the solution vs problem.

Low hanging fruit is moving Scandella and acquiring someone better.

Scandella is low hanging fruit and Krug will be hard to move. It all depends on whether Armstrong truly has the will to build a champion team or not because the left side is still completely insufficient to compete against Colorado
