Eh, I see Miller’s offensive strengths mostly coming on the rush or from him pinching. Jones and York are just flat out better on the PP, and the two forwards are great triggermen.

Miller’s opportunity to stick in the NHL will come down to his abilities to shut down the opponent and get the puck out of the NYR zone up the ice. I’m happy with him getting more time to practice that.

And, almost definitely, one of the proposed PP pairs they’re trying now won’t work out. I’d expect Miller will find his way there eventually.

I don’t disagree. I don’t think Miller should be a PPQB, but he’s pretty good as a trigger man along the wall. And it’s nice to see him get put in a shutdown role to get more reps there, but I don’t think he’s good enough at it to do it well enough in a shorter tournament, and Team USA’s perspective should be to put players in the best positions for the team to try and win gold, not develop to Miller

Really the only thing samuellsson does well is kill penalties.
KAndre short handed takes the puck cuts thru the neutral zone on the rush to the right circle and fires a dart at the goalie big thud sound he’s definitely got a heavy shot. Keeper hangs on tight

Puck from emberson into the slot hits a German player goes right to caufield for the finish. He’s always in the right place to bury a shot up high. It’s uncanny 2-1

My wife quite often will be talking to me about some idiotic b.s. while a Rangers game is going on but as soon as the commercials come on she's all attention to that---back to the game and the b.s. returns and later I'll hear that I never listen to what she says. Cole Caufield is pretty good

Should’ve gone in the top 10. Drafting prospects that hang their hats on goal scoring can be a big gamble, but I think Caufield has enough intuition and other tools to make the NHL

he’s like a modern day luc Robitaille. Doesn’t even have the hardest shot he just is always in the right place to get it off and he always gets it up high always finishes. Doesn’t do a whole lot otherwise out there.

You would be correct, didn't know that he basically missed the cut for 2018 by a few weeks.

Miller might be the captain of the team so I’d say he’s as sure a lock as there is.

zac Jones will also make this team. He was already looking like he’d make it his NCAA season just makes it a no brainer.

obviously Lundqvist and I think Nico Gross is still eligible.

Lindbom is like 4th on the goalie depth chart at this point so he’s probably out.

I'm surprised that Emberson is the only RHD that was able to make the squad. I can see that causing them issues as the tournament progresses
