Well with your lineup they most certainly do not rock.

If their only move to improve secondary scoring was to add Craig Smith to their third line, then that's just crap. They're again gonna roll out JDB on Krejci's left side? We haven't concluded beyond a shadow of a doubt that neither is good for the other? It isn't crystal clear to all of us that JDB seems a better match with Coyle on a 3rd line? We're just gonna pretend the weeks of lineups we all filled out with JDB on the 3rd line didn't happen, just to excuse our GM who can't get his job done?
That’s them.....me

Marchand-Bergeron- xxxx

50 50 Krejci will be bought back next season

Bergy is here until the end of his contract.... aging/ productive with Marchand and Pasta

He's probably gone. The Bruins didn't give Coyle that deal for him to anchor the 3rd line for the next few years.

Or maybe they did...tough to tell with this team

I'm sure I'm in the minority on this, but I want them to add a top 4 defenseman more than another middle 6 forward. Add a minute eating left shot defenseman and I'm happy.

Marchand-Bergeron-Smith
Kase-Krejci-Pastrnak
DeBrusk-Coyle-Studnicka
Ritchie/Frederic-Kuraly-Wagner

I’ve been of this mindset since before the OEL trade rumors. Only emboldened by the fact that we had an actual shot at such a defender.

Sweeney was on the ice game 7 vs St Louis?
Blame to players, they had more than enough talent to win last year
Sorry, The better team definetly won last year. No doubt. Bigger, tougher more talented defensively, and Just as good up front. Why did Sweeney not get Shenn.....?....I loved the guy and many here wanted him. Perfect player for us....Maybe if Sweeney gets him instead of St. Louis....We win. Plus we did have a cakewalk to the cup last year. Had Sweeney beefed up better at the deadline, we could have won. He has taken the cheap way out every time. Never gets the right fish. Always has the company line excuse...much like not getting Hall....and getting the cheaper guy like Smith. Please since you know so much, mention to me that addition he has bought in to help a stanley cup nucleus he inherited, yet had nothing to do with....Again, Sweeney had and has nohing to do with that team on the ice last year. Chiarelli actually has more to do with that team then Sweeney does. Sweeney has added nothing. No impact players in five years. Huge Failure. Fact. Get me AP......Then he gets credit.

I think people badly underestimate Kase. While he couldn't finish in the playoffs, I thought he was one of our better forwards. Excellent possession, smart 2-way player, slick at times, etc. He did more for me than JDB did, that's for damn sure.

I like Kase and I'd continue to give him top 6 chances. Of all the shit players Sweeney has acquired via UFA and trade to solve our secondary scoring, aside from Coyle he's the guy I like most. So far.

Kase had putrid puck luck last year. Goes from a 13% shooting percentage the prior two years all the way down to under 5%. It seemed like he had plenty of scoring chances in the playoffs, but he just couldn't convert. Maybe he can spend all offseason with Pastrnak and have some of that scoring touch rub off on him.

Can we not package a vak senyshyn zboril package with moore as cap savings to Arizona for oel ? Why wouldn't both general managers do that??

Id imagine because AZ would want something more meaningful for OEL rather than 3 of our prospects who haven’t cracked the roster and 1 consistent healthy scratch.

I think the Bruin's are taking there time on trades, but with so many teams so tight against the salary cap. I am hopeful and still think Don will ice a team capable of contending for the Stanley cup. Can not understand, how Kevan Miller fits in, but not ready to give up yet . I have been a Bruin fan for 50+years and have witnessed a lot of frustration, but Management is smart enough to know, now is the time. My only concern is how cheap ownership is.

Johnny Rocket is apparently on the block. He's pretty washed up but I need to see us make things right and bring him back.

Bruins choked on home ice, that's the undisputed fact
Sweeney through shrewd negotiations has kept this core together ,Marcus Johansson was an excellent addition as was Halak as was Charlie Coyle
Not Sweeney's fault that Pastrnak tumbles out of an Uber at 2am and isn't the same afterwards
Players get the blame for 2019

Bergy is definitely here til the end of his contract.

The only way to move forward is NOT re-signing Krejci. Otherwise it's more of the same. If they can some how get a younger #2 or someone else actually steps up... I think the Bruins aren't in a good spot beyond this season. They aren't tanking low enough to get an impact player (unless one slides in like Pasta did)

He has a $6 million cap hit for this year and next...........pass
Sweeney will probably try to get him for another year rather than risk getting into a bidding war like the one he must have when he pounced on Kevan Miller.
