I would also not rule him out as a guy who takes on a special role on the PowerPlay.

While he isn't going to light the world on fire, don't rule out them looking at him to get the puck on net.

Schneider was a kid we projected to go 15th to Toronto.

ISS had him 13th, McKenzie had him at 17, McKeen's had him at 15, Rangers had him at 12, the Board Mock also had him at 15.

I do think we need to keep that in perspective a bit.

This is what perplexes me about some of the reactions on this board about this pick. Some act like he was a 2nd round talent. I personally wanted Laperrier but I understand this pick.

I don't think it'll be offense in the sense that we think of guys like Fox, or ADA, or even Lundqvist.

I imagine him as more of a specalist who can take a shot from the point if a creative mind gets him the puck.

I do not expect him to be attempting end-to-end rushes.
