Sens Fan here, congrats on pick 2!

Absolutley insane a play in team wins 1st lmao

Who do you guys pick at 2? Leaning Byfield or Stutzle?

Okay yes I am pretty happy we moved all the way up to 2nd overall. And the last time we chose second we won the cup 4 years later. However, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed we were soooo damn close. Lafreniere would help this franchise for many years to come. Damn but I'll take 2nd and run.

No matter who we pick we are going to get a decent player. It is a tough call at #2 as #2-3 are both interchangeable and you welcome a bit of criticism if you choose "wrong", but either Stutzle or Byfield will be terrific players. I have a feeling LA will lean toward Byfield. Awesome news. Can't wait for next season whenever that maybe. Going into a crazy win streak, seeing the kids grow and the veterans perform and picking up the #2 overall pick plus we have three 2nd round picks? We are in a f***ing incredible position. LET'S GO KINGS!

#2-#4 picks seems equal - in terms of having a Byfield/Stutzle/Drysdale. Laf was the prize once were in the top 3 and Kings were so f’n close. Can’t help but feel a little anti-climactic.

It's great that we got #2, but I would be happy anywhere between 2-4. Really ticked that a top team can get the number 1 pick. Think about it. The Leafs, Edmonton, Pittsburgh can win Laf.

So whats the comparison between Byfield and Stutzle...

Younger center with size and a ton of potential vs. Winger/center with tons of skill that played in a men's league?

Is one the safer pick?

I’m a big believer in BPA but the thinking seems to be that it’s a coin flip between Byfield and Stutzle. My instinct says Byfield however I think who we pick will tell us a lot about the future of Turcotte position wise.

You have to think Kopitar and Vilardi are slotted in for two of the top 3 Center spots. So if we draft Byfield Turcotte would surely move to wing. However I think we will end up with Stutzle as we need more skill on the wing and he’d seriously help the power play.

I love Stutzle's game, even moreso than Byfield's, but I think the Kings will go with Byfield. I just have a feeling, though he seems like a little bit of a project, but he has a higher ceiling in my opinion.

It's gotta be Byfield, y'all. Just watching someone skate and make plays at such a high speed when they're that big is nuts. He's on a similar pace to LaFreniere at his age (10 months younger). He's heir apparent to Kopitar, without the pressure given that we have Vilardi, Turcotte, Madden, Thomas, etc. as well.

Pronman's scouting report: Why Quinton Byfield is a top NHL...

The great thing about Vilardi, Turcotte and soon to be King Byfield is that they can all play the wing... Turcotte looked dynamic on the wing during his draft year

I'm going to be honest, I'm disappointed. There's a pretty big drop from Lafreniere to #2. Byfield seems raw and Stutzle plays overseas.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's Stutzle. Anschutz owns a team in Germany and Yanetti just mentioned that they have a heavy presence (of scouts) in Germany.

Man.. I know I shouldn't complain, we jumped from 4 to 2.. Most of us thought we'd be dropping from 4 to 7, but **** we were SO close to Lafreniere. Not to mention, a PLACEHOLDER team gets #1? Cmon. That's ridiculous.
