thats a pretty huge jump for us but kind of bullshit that some premier teams might add lafreniere

You know, when you really think about it, you can't complain much as a Kings fan over the past decade.

But god damn, when they still hadn't announced 1 and 2, I thought for sure we were getting LaFreniere. Heart sank, but now I need to go watch some Byfield/Stutzle videos to make me feel better.

Watch the loser of the Hawks/Oilers play in end up 1st overall.

When Ottawa was displayed at 3, I thought we had 1st but nothing wrong snatching 2nd overall.

Playoff team getting number one stings, but I am thrilled we got #2. The Kings literally have their pick of anybody not LaFreniere.

Welcome to Chicago, Laf.

Of course that happened. Total bullshit.

That said... This makes up for last year's bullshit.

Detroit... Jesus.

Despite the insanity that a team like the Penguins, Oilers, Leafs are going to get a franchise player, ecstatic Kings jumped up to #2.

No complaints here, Stutzle is a pretty solid consolation prize. For those that suggest they take Byfield, still not bad at all.

I wouldn't have cared this much if it was the Sens or the Red Wings winning the lottery and we ended up 2nd. I would've been fine with that. I'm just absolutely livid that the Pens, the Hawks, the Habs all get an equal opportunity at Lafreniere. NHL should have protected the 1st overall pick from those 8 teams.

Sens Fan here, congrats on pick 2!

Absolutley insane a play in team wins 1st lmao

Who do you guys pick at 2? Leaning Byfield or Stutzle?

You knew going into this thing there was going to be a second lottery with sixteen teams having an equal chance. Someone in Bettman's office wanted another ratings boost.
