I was just wondering how excited everyone was about this. Personally I would rather follow the Red Wings than this

I had to Google which countries were included. Zero interest. Hopefully everybody stays healthy and Detroit can keep the momentum going when the real games resume.

Don't care about but I think it will have a big influence to the rest of the season, a two weak break for everyone else helps to heel up the small bruises and injuries way more then the ASG break or the scheduled one weak off in the last years.

Not excited at all. Especially not with it shutting the season down for 2 weeks and potential for injury to Larkin or Raymond. This kind of thing needs to be a Sep 1st kind of tourney, not mid season and only 4 teams also makes it incredibly lame. Losing players for a nothing tourney that means nothing to pretty much everyone would be brutal.

2 week break can also cool off a hot team, like ours.

How can we be better than 2, 7 game win streaks?
There is always something you can improve, as a group or every single player, having 2 weeks practice time during a season is a luxury for our new coach. The streak is nice, the position is nice as it was last year at the same time...

Better than all-star "game".

Im waiting for the Olympics, this thing gives me practice tournament vibes.
The key word being "practice". Since there's absolutely nothing on the line, it's essentially a second preseason - just get through it and don't get hurt.

I don’t really care too much for it but I’d love to see Larkin get a taste of winning on the big stage

I’m also excited to see how Raymond looks for Sweden
