He's a 4th or 5th overall guy anyways. Why are we talking about trading down to get him? If we draft too two, take the top 2 guys. If we slip, take Drysdale.
At what point in the draft would you guys like to see us pick Drysdale? Imo I only see it being worth it if we get no higher than the 5th pick because I would like us to get either raymond or stutzle with the 3-4 picks unless we get 1st or 2nd overall.
Lots of scouts said this about Kopitar being from Slovenia. Over 2 points per game in the OHL is pretty awesome, but there's the whole 5'9" thing. If Rossi wasn’t Austrian, he’d maybe be a top three pick.
I thought Rossi's biggest issue was not his scoring but rather his skating.. who for a smaller guy really needs to be above average, though Cole Caufield might disagreeLots of scouts said this about Kopitar being from Slovenia. He’s not a world-class skater, but skating is by no means a weakness. He’s a very good skater.
maybe, in 3 years, he could be our very own Dominik Kubalik.
People say for someone his size it needs to be elite but it is very good. No issues there.I thought Rossi's biggest issue was not his scoring but rather his skating.. who for a smaller guy really needs to be above average, though Cole Caufield might disagree

I keep reading how the Kings got/get screwed for the draft lottery. But everybody in the top 3 gets similarly "screwed" (until they don't) by design. The odds of winning the lottery by initial draft position:

Totally get that but falling back 3 spots i think is less than 50% odds of happening too. I like the lottery and don't think LA got "screwed", just sucks they lost the lottery. Was really hoping for Kakko.

While I agree, my bigger concern is landing a top-6 pick. I'd be most happy with Lafreniere. From there, I don't think anyone's guaranteed to have the next-best career. Byfield, Raymond, Stutzle, Drysdale, Rossi.
I admittedly don't know a lot about Lundell, Holtz, or Perfetti, though. I need to watch more of them. I gather what info I can from YouTube and articles, unfortunately. But hey, that's why I don't make the decisions!
Yeah he's listed at 180 I believe. Which is heavier then many 6' prospects. So I'm not as concerned with his height as other short prospects who lack strengthhe's also built like a brick ****house, watch how strong he is on his skates
I think Lafreniere is the slamn dunk one and Byfield is slamn dunk 2. After that I think there are 4-6 guys that could all go 3. However I am sure I will change my view on this 10x over before the draft
