For anyone interested in analyzing relative stats for prospects this link is helpful.
Pick224 - Hockey Prospect Stats
It looks like it includes the majority of leagues so there will only be a handful of prospects that are not included. It allows the ability to rank order players by a wide array of categories. Prospects can be ranked by primary or secondary points, even strength/power play/short handed points (primary and secondary), shooting percentage (even strength and power play), goals for and against, among other categories.

If I find anything interesting I will follow up on this post. But until then I thought others might want to check it out.

i reaaaally like Perrault. not really a sens type pick but i still dont quite know why hes ranked so low on some lists.

I like Perreault as well. Things I've heard are consistency with his compete level, and would like to see him use his top gear more often. He can shoot, score and make plays.
I think he fits in that 13-20 range.

Sorry to break this for you guys, but you have to know by now the "genius" Dorion. It will be again countless off the board US college picks, so they can join the team one thousand years latter, so Melnyk
can keep, what is left of his money.

There is a world famous Ukrainian writer in the ranks of Leo Tolstoy and Dostoevsky - Nikolai Gogol. Who rote a book Dead Souls. Where as Dostoevsky gave the world the notion that after any crime, even with good intentions, always follows the punishment. Gogol wrote about the human psychology,
to be still important disregarding any moral compasses. Melnyk is just the perfect personage from the book in my opinion, where the impoverished gentilhomme in order to be still important and show to the society that he is still rich. Was buying dead serf souls from the books of other noble land owners and transferring them to his book, without reporting that they are dead to the authorities. More serfs to show off - more respect in the society. Melnyk to hide his irrelevance and lack of funds is in the business buying dead contracts as dead souls))) Or drafting players, who would never join the team. I am sure was reading the book as Ukrainian himself and was taking the notes. ))

Where Hendrix Lapierre goes is a big question. I think we are very likely. I don’t think he goes in the first round. And we have 4 second round picks.

Still pretty mind blowing that there's a good chance Ottawa comes out of the draft with the #1 ranked C and #1 ranked D. Has it ever happened before?
