The Jets and Giants are only considered NY teams for marketing purposes. Factually its an insult to NY and NJ
Giants have not played in NYC since the early 70.s
At least I got to see a Jet game at Shey Stadium.
A 4th QT comeback against the Dolphins. Ken Obrein was the QB

I always thought the Medowlands was a complete dump of a stadium until they stuffed this monstrosity down out throat.
But at least then they would allow fun in the parking lot. Post Covid it will be nothing but misery.
Once upon a time I had to be on a waiting list to get crappy seats.

The Washington Football Team hasn't played in Washington in over 20 years. The 49ers play 50 miles away from San Francisco. Dallas plays in Arlington which is a half-hour away. Sometimes it's just more convenient to play in a place other than the city/state in the team name. I think like almost a third of the league plays in a different city/state.

Its marketing.
Jeeze. I went to a redskins game at RFK in 1997 against the Cardnals.
Damm i feel old now.
That place was a dump

I get the marketing aspect. I just think it's silly to call it "factually insulting" to the people who live in the city/state in the team's name. I don't think many people care. From my experience, anyway.

RFK wasn't great but had excellent public transportation access. It was also great for soccer games and even when the Nationals moved in briefly, I thought it was a decent ballpark. Better than some baseball-specific venues I had been to.

Only team we have somehow consistently beat and it cost us Chase Young. Looks like Tate is benched for disciplinary reasons.

Do the Giants "lose close games" or is it that they just find ways to lose?

I feel like they deserve the latter narrative.

Washington with 4 turnovers sure didnt do themselves any favors. They gave this game away. Edit:make it 5 turnovers
