The Jets and Giants were both playing in NJ by the time you started watching football I assume. I'm not sure what WFH has to do with watching football but Sunday ticket has been around for 25 years so I'm probably missing your point.

The last 4-5 years WFHing has increased dramatically and especially now many people have peaced out of NY. So now more than ever and post-Covid you can be anywhere and watch your team.

Yeah Sunday Ticket and Satellite dish was around in 1995 but it was super expensive until the 2000s.

How allegiances are formed now you'd have to ask kids but I'd say Eli Manning winning two SBs or family would play a role.

I can only speak for my generation and the one after.

My comment about WFH was more about the fact that games are mostly played on Sunday. :)

The Giants with a 5-0 turnover advantage win by 3 points against WFT. Pathetic.
This is the most alarming stat from the game.

Yesterday was not all on Jones. Garrett has called some good games but yesterdays game plan was mind blowing to me. Slayton had 1 Targey yesterday. ONE. This after being able to beat TBay’s defense downfield over and over again the game before, a much better defense, whether they connected or not. Slayton was beating them. Why do we move away from that? This offense just does not have that killer instinct. I know they are still figuring out the O-Line, trying out Peart and Lemieux, moving Peart around, but this team should have 4-5 wins right now had they been able to put teams away.

The bad news from the election that we can all probably agree on is the fact that Woody Johnson is almost certainly coming back.

Those last two offensive possessions were such garbage too. It feels like there has now been multiple games where the Giants offense gets the ball with around ~2:00 to go in the game, opportunity just sitting there to either ice or steal a victory, and the offense puts up a pathetic three and out and gives the ball right back to the other team.

I fully own that I was a big time Pat Graham doubter, but the defense is far and away the MVP of this team, which is crazy considering some of the holes on that side of the ball.

And I'm starting to feel pretty good about Peart. Limited plays so far but I think this guy is going to be a legit starting tackle. And I know Lemuiex isn't as good as Hernandez in a vacuum, but man, I like watching his snarl and since he's been in there the Giants run game has gotten going... And Gates is getting better every game.

The line wasn't as good in pass protection yesterday but the run blocking has been great, honestly night and day from beginning of this year and last year. This is the best it looked since the end of 2018 but that line wasn't full of young guys getting better. And the D has been good, though looked terrible for 3 drives but they did something they haven't done all year get two big stops at the end of the game.

Hate to say this but I'm actually a tad nervous that the Jets might put on a good enough performance tonight to not only make the horrid Patriots sweat but possibly even have a chance to win later in the game.

Hope I'm wrong but I wouldn't put it past Belechik due to his over the top hatred for anything Jets, that he might not pull out all the stops to win seeing its a lost season for the Pats anyways and if he can hurt the Jets chances of being first overall...why the hell not? lol

It would probably be more likely the hoodie would pull shenanigans the last game of the regular season as maybe he'd rest some of his starters something he never does, in order to screw with the Jets. But there is something about tonight that is getting me nervous....hope I'm wrong!...

31-13 Pats and the over.
Sounds good to me.

This is very foreign to me to be rooting against my Jets. But this is the year 2020 and f'd up shit has gone on all year long. That said, from your mouth to the football gods ears that you are right.

I just have this strange feeling the game will be alot closer than that....we shalt see soon enough!
