Lucked into that one
The Jets and Giants were both playing in NJ by the time you started watching football I assume. I'm not sure what WFH has to do with watching football but Sunday ticket has been around for 25 years so I'm probably missing your point.
My comment about WFH was more about the fact that games are mostly played on Sunday. The last 4-5 years WFHing has increased dramatically and especially now many people have peaced out of NY. So now more than ever and post-Covid you can be anywhere and watch your team.
Yeah Sunday Ticket and Satellite dish was around in 1995 but it was super expensive until the 2000s.
How allegiances are formed now you'd have to ask kids but I'd say Eli Manning winning two SBs or family would play a role.
I can only speak for my generation and the one after.
This is the most alarming stat from the game. The Giants with a 5-0 turnover advantage win by 3 points against WFT. Pathetic.
They need another corner and an edge rusher, that's for sure. The Giants need an alpha dog on that D.
The bad news from the election that we can all probably agree on is the fact that Woody Johnson is almost certainly coming back.
CJ cut my season ticket prices by 25%. And I don't have to pay for this season. Even better! Maybe Steve Cohen is also a Jet fan? Too bad Woody isn't a motivated seller like the Wilpons.Maybe its a good thing? Chris Johnson has somehow been worse.
The Giants with a 5-0 turnover advantage win by 3 points against WFT. Pathetic.
Those last two offensive possessions were such garbage too. It feels like there has now been multiple games where the Giants offense gets the ball with around ~2:00 to go in the game, opportunity just sitting there to either ice or steal a victory, and the offense puts up a pathetic three and out and gives the ball right back to the other team.
I fully own that I was a big time Pat Graham doubter, but the defense is far and away the MVP of this team, which is crazy considering some of the holes on that side of the ball.
And I'm starting to feel pretty good about Peart. Limited plays so far but I think this guy is going to be a legit starting tackle. And I know Lemuiex isn't as good as Hernandez in a vacuum, but man, I like watching his snarl and since he's been in there the Giants run game has gotten going... And Gates is getting better every game.
31-13 Pats and the over.
Sounds good to me.
