I mean, what could be more Jets than to beat the Belichick and the Patriots and somehow end up missing out on Lawrence as a result?

I was okay with the approach--short term deals to guys who at some point in the past couple seasons had shown promise, hope a few pan out, hope you get some comp picks in there, too. It's amazing, though, how bad basically everyone has been.

Now we are getting 50 yard TD's? I told you before the game I had this crazy stupid feeling the Jets were going to make the Patriots sweat and have a chance to win late.

Well start the sweating both for us Jet fans cause it would hurt our chances for the first overall and for the Patriots who would be embarrassed if they lost to the Jets.
 
Ashtyn Davis just showed why he was a 3rd round pick as he just destroyed whatever Patriot RB who tried to block him as he proceeded to pulverize Cam. And btw...that was no penalty on Davis as it was clean.

I dunno...I like what I see from both Mims and Davis so far. Add Quinnen and Becton maybe even Perine and Douglass at least has a couple of pieces to work with going forward.

Friggen Jets are screwing the pooch as I predicted and will possibly win this game. They look like a football team tonight and the Patriots are the perfect foil.

Funny how your gut sometimes is right. Tonight it was as this would be very Jetlike to win and screw with their chances for the #1 overall.

BTW:The corpse of Joe Flacco looks really good as that's a TD to Crowder. Cant' believe I said that...lol

One thing to note. Had Darnold played tonight, he would have for the first time played with the full compliment of weapons as he hasn't all season long. So as good as Flacco has looked tonight, I don't think it's unreasonable to think Sam would be having a good night as well with all his weapons finally healthy.

Funny isn't and very Jet like. Finally for first time all year long Mims,Crowder and Perriman are on the field together and Sam of course has to be hurt. It sucks but that's the way we roll here in Jet land...lol

How does it hurt his legacy? He said they went for it the last few years and won a couple of Superbowls. pats were in call hell. Don't know about you but I'd take that any decade.

I think most people assumed they'd be better than this because it's Bill.
 
Flacco has had all night to throw the ball. He's been able to have 2-3 reads even 4 at a time. I can't think of one game where Sam has had this kind of protection.

I get the Pats aren't the Pats but this is by far the best the O-line has looked all year.
 
This is now officially scary for the tank as they are even scoring TD's after the opposition just scored a TD. That never happens....unreal.
 
This is so friggen bizarre to be rooting for your team to do well and win but fully realize that winning the game is not in the best interests for the teams future. So much fun being a Jet fan.
