Agree with everyone that the Jags could be an issue, but we also want them to finish as high as possible as well, without getting the #1 pick. If they are all set to get Lawrence and are not interested in Fields, that could be all the leverage the Jets need to get an absolute haul in a deal.
The Jags have multiple 1s, 2s, 4s, 5s, and 7s. Jacksonville finishing with the 2nd pick would allow them to move down only one spot, get Fields, and potentially get both of their 2s or one of those and their first the following year.
Remember, Trubisky cost the Bears a ton of draft capital to move from 3 to 2. With the enormous amount of holes this franchise currently has, it could make too much sense to have all those 1s and 2s in the next two drafts to build around all the cap space they will have this offseason to inject a lot of talent around Fields.
