What about the 0.1%? The elites. The hockey intelligentsia.

Taco Bell in Europe is pretty awful. I have no idea in the US of course.

Like I would just make the equivalent dishes at home and they would be 5x better. No hubris there either.

Tex-Mex/Mexican places in Europe suck in general though. Have only been to a few good ones in years of trying.

One in Lisbon and one in Naples come to mind as high-end (both ran by Central Americans)... a decent one in Berlin too (ran by Southern Americans). But mostly have serious issues that are inconceivable in my eyes.

The one in Lisbon is the only one where had a dish where I was like "okay, that is for sure better than I could make it". (their pulled pork quesadillas were amazingly good.)

It's awful in Canada as well. You have a 95% chance of the ring of fire the next day
